PROMETA, works on the protection of surface and groundwater sources involving the public, private sector and water users. Our work is carried out in capacity building, conducting technical studies, implementing impact mitigation projects and raising awareness among the population and its authorities, in order to promote practices and policies that allow an integrated management of water resources.
Over the past fifteen years we have contributed effectively to developing practical examples of efficient water use. At the same time, together with local entities, we have worked on global policies and programs regarding the issue. Within the framework of this program, firefighter training actions have been developed forests and a fire prevention system. Finally, PROMETA provides advice to governorates and municipal governments on this issue.
